The new jobs will be filled by PhD and science graduates.
A US-based medical devices firm has announced plans to create 20 new jobs at its facility in Co Cork.
DePuy Ireland, a subsidiary of Johnson & Johnson, says the positions will be created at a new product development centre in its Ringaskiddy plant.
The company, which makes orthopaedic products, already employs 600 people at the plant.
The new jobs will be filled by PhD and science graduates.
