Pfizer is a global leader in the pharmaceutical industry.  Based in Ireland for over 35 years, the company in 2002 established Pfizer Global Financial Shared Services (GFSS) in Dublin.  This is the financial services centre for Pfizer's European business operations. 

Employing over two hundred and sixty personnel, it is a centre of excellence for financial services.

Pfizer GFSS (Europe) is located in The Watermarque Building on Ringsend Road in Dublin 4.  This state-of-the-art building has an onsite gym and its own subsidised restaurant.

3. Education, Training and Development

Pfizer GFSS (Europe) take a long term view to career development.   Working with their manager, all colleagues build a formal Development Plan to manage their career development.  It can consist of

• Coaching
• Work experiences
• Work assignments, including international placements in the US, Australia and Japan.
• In house courses (Pfizer has its own in house curriculum of 25+ courses from IT skills to personal development)
• External courses (Pfizer have a strong tuition support programme)
• Education Seminars
