Job Description:

The successful candidate will have responsibility for managing Lending Operations support role. This role will involve responsibility for the timely and accurate delivery of regular and ad hoc reports and dealing promptly and effectively with queries and requests that follow as a result.

 

A key part of the role will involve pro-actively engaging and building collaborative working relationships with key internal stakeholders, including the Bank’s NAMA unit, Business Solutions, the Lending Teams, Treasury Operations, Group Reconciliations, Group Risk and Group Finance.

 

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Play a leading role in the regular internal multi departmental  planning and operations meetings
  • Play a leading role in the weekly meetings within the Bank
  • Act as a liaison officer within the Bank on all operations issues
  • Deal with the numerous ad hoc queries received from time to time
  • Liaise and develop relationships with the team to assist and support their needs
  • Make key day to day decisions to ensure the level of service is maintained
  • Put systems and procedures in place that improve responsiveness and enhance effective services provided
  • Ensure all processes and procedures are documented and adhered to continuously
  • Reporting to Lending Operations Management Team of all progress, plans and issues

 

 

Requirements

 

  • A professional accounting qualification is required.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Proven track record of working with Business Units, Business Analysts and IT to identify, scope, test and deliver solutions in order to respond to the needs of our customers.
  • Excelling at customer service by delivering a high quality service to exceed customer requirements.
  • Ability to see the bigger picture and plan accordingly.
  • Ability to quickly learn our core internal systems and excellent MS Word, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Experience of working with lending systems is desirable.
  • Previous experience of lending support, or lending would be advantageous.
