Purpose of the role:

• Responsibility for supporting the key Retail stakeholders in the development of financial strategy, objectives and plans for the Banks Retail business.
• This is a key decision support role within the Retail Strategy, Planning & MI team with responsibility for coordinating the production of consolidated financial performance budgets and forecasts for presentation to the Retail Exec and Group Finance, along with monthly management reporting.
• Delivery of internal process improvements to ensure the financial planning and month end reporting process operates as efficiently as possible while continuing to satisfy the requirements of the key stakeholders.
• Provide expert financial analysis and support to senior management within Retail to facilitate review of business performance and to identify and prioritise strategic action plans to address performance gaps.
